FAQ

FAQ

How long have you been photographing weddings?

+ I've been photographing weddings for 12 years now!

Where are you based?

+ Homebase is Tofino BC, just up the block from Mackenzie Beach.

Do you travel for weddings?

+ Absolutely. I've shot weddings all over the world. From Europe (Italy), to The Middle East (Lebanon), to Mexico, the Caribbean (Dominican Republic, Cuba) the U.S. (Texas, Las Vegas, Miami), Asia (India, Cambodia).

Do you only shoot weddings?

+ Wedding photography has been my main squeeze for 12 years. I've dabbled in commercial, food and lifestyle photography but have always been the most comfortable photographing people in love. It makes me ridiculously happy!

How do we plan our wedding day with you?

+ Meet me for a beer before the wedding! I'm all about planning our schedule to allow for the best photographs. I often meet with my couple and their planner to go over the entire day before showtime.

What's your photography style?

+ I document wedding days as it unfolds, as naturally as possible. I don't believe in forced poses and clichéd images. My style is a little funky, a little fresh, but mainly honest...

Do we need to feed you at our wedding?

+ Yes, that would be nice! If you could save me a little place in the corner of the room I'll ensure I don't miss anything important, like speeches and the first dance.

What are your prices?

+ If you fill out our contact form I'll send you more information regarding our packages + pricing.

Do you offer albums?

+ Oh absolutely! I offer a printing service & albums as well.

How many photos do we get?

+ It all depends on the amount of hours that you select. In a full day's wedding with 2 photographers, I usually send clients 700-900 edited pictures.

When will the photos be ready?

+ I take a little under 2 months to deliver images. Our in-house editor and I take our time to ensure your images are perfect before you receive them. A Facebook post usually happens a few days after the event so that you can see a little preview before the whole lot.

How do we book you?

+ I love a good old-fashioned phone call so we can set up our meeting in person. If you live far from town, email me to set up a Facetime meeting. Once your contract is signed I require a 50% retainer to secure the date.
